The JuniorX innovators STEM program is a physical after-school academy designed to give young learners a head start as technology creators by providing a space where they will be immersed in a world class curriculum in science, computing & programming, electronics and robotics.
registration for 2024 session is open
We have selected the worlds leading science curriculum— the Next Generation Science Standard and have collaborated with its leading publisher to bring learning units, experimentation kits, simulations and materials to our students. Students at JuniorX Innovators club will go deep into scientific phenomena and interact with them through technological solutions while building projects. Students who go through through this programme will have absolutely no problems in secondary school or university science.
Our robotics curriculum at JuniorX Innovators STEM club comes after a solid foundation in electronics, computing and science. Using the Micro:bit micro-controller, students will be able to build sensing and moving systems like robots and drones and programme them to make intelligent decisions. This curriculum helps students improve their creativity, critical thinking, computational thinking and ultimately apply various aspects of physical computing while they build incredible projects
This program provides an introduction to coding and computer science by way of coding micro-controllers and sensors, using the revolutionary new micro:bit board, and Microsoft’s easy and powerful MakeCode block-based coding environment.
When students at the STEM club complete this course they will have a good understanding of more than ten computer science concepts that can serve as the foundation for future study
Our electronics programme at JuniorX Innovators STEM Club is perfect for introducing students to the world of, well, Electronics — the building block of all digital technology. In this programme, they will build an array of basic circuits using common components and then transit to digital electronics using microprocessors to build various interesting projects while learning about sensors and the Input - process - output flow.
